Terms of Service

By creating an account, making a purchase, or using the Service in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Service.

Raven is a web-based tool that uses a multimodal AI model (Google Gemini) to produce an estimated geographic location based on the visual clues in a photograph you upload.

The Service is provided for entertainment and informational purposes only. Location guesses are approximate estimates generated by an AI and should not be treated as factual or precise. Raven is not a surveillance tool, a tracking service, a law-enforcement utility, or an intelligence-gathering platform, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency or law-enforcement body.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least 13. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

You agree to use the Service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws. You are strictly prohibited from:

• Using the Service for any illegal purpose, including illegal surveillance, stalking, harassment, or doxxing.
• Attempting to track, locate, or identify a specific individual without their explicit and informed consent.
• Uploading any photograph of a person, private property, or sensitive location that you do not have the legal right or explicit consent to use.
• Uploading content that is unlawful, defamatory, invasive of another person’s privacy, or otherwise objectionable.
• Interfering with the operation of the Service, including probing, scanning, or testing the vulnerability of our systems.
• Reverse-engineering, decompiling, or otherwise attempting to derive the source code of the Service.

Violating these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account and access to the Service.

To access the full Service, you sign in with your Google account. Authentication is handled by our provider, Supabase. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

• Plans: a Weekly subscription at $9.99 USD and a Yearly subscription at $69.99 USD.
• Billing: all payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle. Paddle is the seller of record for orders and handles billing-related support and returns.
• Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period (weekly or yearly) unless you cancel. You authorize the charge for each renewal term through Paddle.
• Cancellation: you may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Except where required by law or covered by our Refund Policy, payments are non-refundable and we do not credit partial periods.

You retain full ownership of and all intellectual-property rights in the photographs you upload (“Your Content”). We do not claim any ownership over Your Content.

Raven does not store your uploaded photos. Each image is processed transiently in memory to be sent to our AI provider (Google) and is permanently discarded immediately after the location estimate is returned. Your photos are never written to disk, saved to a storage bucket, or kept in a database.

The Service itself — including the website, the name “Raven,” logos, branding, interface, and underlying software — is the property of [Legal entity name — TBD] and its licensors. You may not use our branding or intellectual property without prior written consent.

Location estimates are generated by an AI model and are approximate. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or entirely wrong. Do not rely on them for any critical, legal, safety, navigational, or investigative purpose.

The Service is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, [Legal entity name — TBD] and its affiliates, directors, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of one hundred U.S. dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

You may terminate these Terms at any time by cancelling your subscription and ceasing all use of the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, including for a breach of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice — for example, by posting the updated Terms here or by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Governing law / jurisdiction — TBD], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
